Google Ads Management for Vehicle Inspection Businesses

We set up and manage Google Ads for vehicle inspection businesses, branch by branch. The aim is to reach the person searching on their phone for a pre-purchase inspection just before buying a used car, while your branch is open and close enough for them to drive over. So we don't run one generic "inspection" campaign. Each branch goes live with its own area, its own opening hours and its own phone number.

The setup works for independent single-branch centres as well as multi-branch businesses. We review the account every week, and reporting is broken down by branch, so you can see how many call clicks and direction requests each location received and which searches the money went on.

WebAsist is an Istanbul-based digital marketing agency. We are a Google Partner and a Meta Business Partner and have worked with more than 200 brands; vehicle inspection is one of the sectors we specialise in on the Google Ads side. Google Ads isn't your only channel; your free Business Profile shows up in the same searches. We explain the difference in our Google Maps ads guide. You can see the scope of the service on the Google Ads advertising package page.

What makes an inspection search different?

An inspection search isn't research; the person needs a place to go. Their questions are short, as their Turkish searches show: "inspection near me", "inspection open on Sunday", "how much is an inspection". In the accounts we manage, they have usually seen the car, are about to meet the seller and decide within minutes. The conversion is a call, a directions request, a WhatsApp message or a booking form.

The Turkish word "ekspertiz" also covers insurance adjusters, mortgage valuations, report look-ups and job ads. Of the Google search box suggestions we scanned for buyer searches in October 2026, roughly one in eight had nothing to do with buying a car.

Our first questions on a new or inherited account:

  • Area: buyers go to a centre near the car. We limit ads to a realistic drive and test district-name searches from elsewhere in a separate campaign.
  • Hours: people also search on Sundays and evenings. A closed branch's ad still gets clicked and charged.
  • Meaning: excluding non-buyers must not exclude buyers. Words buyers also use, such as "kredi" (credit), "motor" (engine) or "telefon" (phone), are not blocked outright.

We cover the general method for filtering out unrelated meanings in our Google Ads negative keywords guide.

Six steps we follow
in every inspection account
We treat every branch as its own unit. The steps below are the order we follow when managing accounts for vehicle inspection businesses.
Campaign and area per branch
Campaign and area
per branch
Each branch has its own campaign, budget and radius. Google's recommended "Presence or Interest" also reaches people merely interested in the area. We choose "Presence".
Search language and negatives
Search language
and negatives
We group district, nearby, opening-hours, price and service searches separately, and exclude insurance adjusters, job ads and valuations from day one.
Ad copy and assets
Ad copy
and assets
Headlines carry the district, opening hours and packages; call and location assets are linked. We don't present the TSE certificate every centre must hold as an edge.
Branch page and booking
Branch page
and booking
The first screen shows the branch address, today's hours, what each package covers, and the phone and WhatsApp buttons. Every branch gets its own page.
Call, WhatsApp and directions tracking
Call, WhatsApp and
directions tracking
Phone clicks, WhatsApp, directions and booking forms are separate conversions. Call duration doesn't reach Google Ads in Turkey, so we check against branch call logs.
Schedule and budget
Schedule
and budget
We schedule the call asset for the hours someone can answer. After closing, ads stay on only if WhatsApp and the form get a reply. Spare capacity sets the budget.
Who this setup suits, and who it doesn't

Who this setup suits, and who it doesn't

This way of working suits these businesses best:

  • Independent centres competing in the same searches as the branches of large inspection chains in their district.
  • Multi-branch businesses whose locations keep different hours or also open at weekends and in the evening.
  • Centres that sell packages to used car dealers and fleets and want to promote them separately from individual customers.

In these cases, we suggest finishing something else before putting money into ads:

  • Nobody can answer the phone: set up a phone or booking routine first. An unanswered call sends a buyer you paid for to the next centre.
  • Your Business Profile isn't verified or shows the wrong address: the location asset takes its data from the profile.
  • Your branches already run at full capacity every day: ads will bring a queue, not extra cars.
  • Conversion tracking isn't in place: we advise against raising the budget, because you can't see which searches the money goes on. The setup is in our Google Ads conversion tracking setup guide.
  • You run a franchise branch of a chain whose ads are managed centrally: talk to head office before opening your own account.

Frequently Asked Questions
The account is opened in your business's name and the billing details are yours. You pay Google directly with your own card, with no middleman commission, and Google emails you the invoice at the start of each month. You can follow your campaigns from your own account at any time. We connect through the access you grant and build and run the campaigns with it.
Each branch gets its own campaign and daily budget, so a busy day at one location doesn't use up another's money. We suggest each share from the branch's opening hours and how many more cars it can take in a day; the final call is yours. Example scenario: a 250 TL daily budget can spend at most 250 × 30.4 = 7,600 TL a month, and a 450 TL one up to 450 × 30.4 = 13,680 TL, a combined ceiling of 21,280 TL. Even if a branch only opens on weekdays, a campaign with an ad schedule paces toward 30.4 times its average daily budget, so we talk about budgets as monthly ceilings.
If you offer a dealer or fleet package, yes. Someone searching for a "dealer inspection package" is not an individual buyer: the decision-maker, the question and the follow-up they expect are all different. We prefer to give that audience its own campaign, landing page and conversion, so it doesn't eat into the consumer budget and its results are read separately.
Our default is to add them as negative keywords, because that person is usually looking for a specific chain's branch. If you want, we test them in a separate low-budget campaign and report the results on their own. Either way, we never put a competitor's name in the ad text: Turkey's Commercial Advertising and Unfair Commercial Practices Regulation does not allow a rival's name or brand in comparative advertising. Before we bid on a rival's brand, we recommend checking the trademark side with your lawyer.
In the first weeks we watch the search terms, the negatives that need adding, the hours the ads actually show and whether conversions are counted correctly. If a Smart Bidding strategy is used, Google mentions a 7 to 14 day learning phase, and we avoid frequent budget or target changes during it. We don't promise a date for results; decisions follow the weekly data.
Yes, website design is one of our services. For the ads, one small detail matters: the phone number has to appear on the page as text, not only inside an image, because Google checks the number in your ad against that text on your site. If your current site already shows the address, hours, packages, phone number and a booking form for each branch, you don't need a new one.
